 ILGA launches revamped website with new online tools By Paul Canning The International lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex association (ILGA) has a new tool on its website showing the legal position for LGBTI people around the world. Developed with its website partner, British Telecom, the clickable map on the homepage shows the legal position on fifteen issues from 'ability to change gender on official documents' to 'second parent adoption'. Double clicking on a country opens up a country survey developed with help from local LGBTI groups. These cover not just the law but the mood (the social climate), the LGBTI movement as well as what would be, according to them, the most pressing campaign in their country. As it has just been launched, information is lacking from many countries. There's also a feedback option on each page for local LGBTI to comment and answer random questions.
